# The Life Empowerment Center

> The Life Empowerment Center (TLEC) is a licensed counseling practice based in Austin, Texas, specializing in ADHD care for adults, teens, and children via telehealth. Founded by James Ochoa, LPC-S — who identified and coined the Emotional Distress Syndrome (EDS) of ADHD — the practice offers individual counseling, structured education programs, and supervised associate care with Jennifer Walsh, LPC Associate. Individual counseling requires clients to be physically located in Texas at the time of sessions; TLEC is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.
